Description

A huge Chinese terracotta horse, unglazed in grey pottery , powerfully modelled,
with sharply formed mane,  standing with one leg upraised, with vigorously
sculpted head, the open jaw exposing teeth,  nostrils flared and ears in an alert
position.    Han Dynasty from Sichuan Province.
