Description
ATTIC RED-FIGURE SQUAT LEKTHOS with a flaring mouth,
flat on top, ring base and lip reserved. It shows a domestic
scene of a woman holding an object (mirror? distaff?), seated
on a chair before a chest, with a sakkos (headband) suspended
on the wall above. Late 5th – Early 4th centuries BC.
Condition: No faults, occasional slight loss of black glaze.
