Description
AN APULIAN RED-FIGURED EPYCHISIS CIRCA 4TH CENTURY B.C.
The reel-shaped body with shallow shoulders, decorated with the figure
of a reclining draped female, holding a phiale aloft in her right hand,
a mirror: palmettes either side of the handle, dotted ovolo around the
rim overhang, tongues around the neck.
Height: 11 cms
Condition: Complete and of good colour; small chips to the foot
