Description
An extremely fine Persian cast bronze socketed spearhead featuring
a double-edged blade with a slightly raised midrib. The socketed shaft
allowed the blade to connect to a hilt, The shaft is strengthened by 3 bands.
1200 – 800 BC and from Luristan in the Zagros Mountains in Western Persia.
Length: 41 cms
Condition: A beautiful patina and one blade a little dented, (presumably
through a fatal impact!)
